10:15 am The plan is to meet at the Arco station at the corner of Irwindale Avenue and Foothill Blvd in Irwindale. Irwindale Avenue is the first exit off the 210 freeway east of the 605, then go one block north to Foothill. It is right across the freeway from the Miller There is a Farmer Boys restaurant, kind of a high class (?) hamburger place that serves breakfast just south of the Arco if anyone wants to get there early and eat before the ride. Bikes should be gassed and everyone ready to ride at The route is great! There's everything from ultra tight twisties
to wide open stretches of Old Route 66. The plan is to get to
the intersection of Mt. Emma Road and Angeles Forest Highway
at around 2:00. A quick lunch stop at a taco stand in Wrightwood
is planned. |
